I’d Rather Have a Bottle in Front of Me Than a Frontal Lobotomy
Stopped by the Northwestern Hospital Travel Immunization Center to prepare for my trip to India. Check out this list of vaccinations:
- Polio
- Hepatitis A
- Tetanus (with whooping cough!)
- Malaria
- Typhoid
- Traveler’s diarrhea
They recommended against a rabies vaccination because the cost has jumped to $1200! I guess for that price, I should wait for the monkey to bite me first.
Oh, the hangover
Stayed up all night drinking rum, vodka, champagne, and some other mysterious concoctions.
I’m paying for it today.
Guitar Hero III is Impossible to Find
I cannot find a copy of Guitar Hero III for the Xbox 360 for sale ANYWHERE. And this makes my 70’s disco tribute band ANGRY.
BlackBerry Problems Resolved
About a month ago, I was upgraded to a BlackBerry 8700c. Prior to this model, I had been using a BlackBerry 7280 for almost two years. The 7280 was functional, but not very flashy. Enter the 8700c, with BlueTooth, a speakerphone, and a bad attitude. The 8700c would reboot numerous times during the day - nothing but constant headaches. The damn thing would reboot while I was checking the calendar, sending an e-mail, or talking on the phone.
Needless to say, I received a replacement. After a week, all is good. I’ll shrug this off as an isolated incident, and hold off on a viscious tongue lashing.
