We drove up to Appleton, Wisconsin, yesterday to visit my cousin Sharon and her husband Tim. They recently bought a new house. It’s large and very nice.

They took us to downtown Appleton. We stopped by the Paper Valley hotel, where the visiting New York Giants are staying. Brandon Jacobs was socializing with the locals.

Afterwards, we went to the Deja Vu martini lounge. When we left, it was -11 degrees!

Tim has tickets to the Packers game today. His dad was at the ice bowl, and now it’s his turn to suffer.

I hope he survives!

If you own a humidor, you know it can be a challenge to control the humidity in cold winter months. I’ve purchased a few tubes of Drymistat, which is supposed to make this job a lot easier. After a few weeks, I will post on (hopefully) their effectiveness.
