Stopped by the Northwestern Hospital Travel Immunization Center to prepare for my trip to India. Check out this list of vaccinations:

• Polio
• Hepatitis A
• Tetanus (with whooping cough!)
• Malaria
• Typhoid
• Traveler’s diarrhea

They recommended against a rabies vaccination because the cost has jumped to $1200!  I guess for that price, I should wait for the monkey to bite me first.

We drove up to Appleton, Wisconsin, yesterday to visit my cousin Sharon and her husband Tim. They recently bought a new house. It’s large and very nice.

They took us to downtown Appleton. We stopped by the Paper Valley hotel, where the visiting New York Giants are staying. Brandon Jacobs was socializing with the locals.

Afterwards, we went to the Deja Vu martini lounge. When we left, it was -11 degrees!

Tim has tickets to the Packers game today. His dad was at the ice bowl, and now it’s his turn to suffer.
